I Stand Before the Morning Sun - Magpie: Terry Leonino and Greg Artzner

From Terry's rocking harmonica and beautiful dulcimer to Greg and Reggie's stunning duet on "I'll Be Home For Christmas" to Kim's "S-O-L-A R Power" the group creates a joyful evening of tradition, whimsy, laughter, and concern for Mother Earth, drawing the audience deeply into their warm circle.

Christmas, Hanukkah, the Winter Solstice, Kwanzaa - whatever traditional Winter holiday we'll each celebrate in the next two weeks -- all have one thing in common. On the darkest day of the year, each heralds the natural world's New Year.

Powerful symbolism! The darkest days of the year now grow gradually longer, turning us toward Spring's fertility, and Earth's new growth cycle with its limitless possibility for renewal. The flickering flames of the menorah, the twinkling lights on the tree and the Kwanzaa candelabrum all illuminate potential for a brighter future - just a few months away.

With their trademark onstage humor, easy stage banter and powerful, stirring music they create a warm and wonderful evening, a musical reminder of the passing seasons in the joy of each other's company; funny, poignant and important stories; soaring harmony like no other from four of our finest, most beloved artists.

Let there be light!
